Mom and Dad's celebration of their first fifty years togeather

We took two days time out on the Olympic Peninsula to recover from a long flight before sailing to Alaska

All of these were places that Annette and I went with my parents when we were four and five years old; and then revisited on another family holiday when I was about sixteen years old.

The memories from those really special times together are still so vivid that I can still navigate Seattle and much of this corner of Washington without a map, by simply recognizing the bearings of unforgettable mountains and landmarks along the way.
