Kat-O, Crooked Island, Hong Kong ̶ To come to this place Daisy woke up at 3am; in the pitch dark waded through deep mangrove mud and injurious oysters to get to the sea; pre-dawn quietly snuck past the marine boarder police at their floating gate outside starling inlet, sat on a surf board for 4 hours to get to Double Haven, Crooked Island and Ap Chau; and happily paid the parking ticket when we returned.

Ap Chau (鴨洲, Robinson Island), Hong Kong ̶ We met a lady who was born on this Island and she said that in the 1970s there were 1000 people living on this spec of land. Now it seems there are less than 20. The background is Yan Tian, China which was a desolate coastline when we used to sail here in around 1998.
