1. stop photographing things so straight-up / get more out of the box
2. more abstract, conceptual, moody / surround the subject with feelings that illustrate the point of the photo
3. improve use of tools - features in 5d, B/W, flash, post processing
4. is some greater use of photography beyond just making images that i like comes to furition; that would be good too
