We drove 1400 km on bumpy roads, covering part of the route of the Long March, which for us went into April. Our final destination was ChiShui national park where we did some walking.
The Ancient Town of Bing An maintains some of its original look of the Ming (1368 - 1644) and Qing (1644 - 1911) Dynasty. Only the ChiShui river leads the old town to the outside world. From ancient times Bing An has been an important town on the trail from southern Sichuan to Guizhou.
